NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, it is a National Level Entrance exam for admission into MBBS and BDS courses through out India, sources say that from this year i.e., 2018 even AYUSH courses such as BAMS (Ayurveda) , BHMS (Homeopathy), BUMS (Unani), BNYS (Naturopathy) will also be added in NEET.
Every year NEET is held on the first sunday of May month, so this year NEET will be held on 7th May 2018. Online applications will be available from January 2018.
NEET is conducted and organized by CBSE (Central Board for Secondary Education).
Application Fee : Rs. 1400 /- (for General and OBC) , Rs. 750/- (fo SC/ST/ PH)
Mode of Payment : Payment can be made online through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking. Candidate can also pay through E-Challan of SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Syndicate banks

NEET 2018 Eligibility :
Nationality :-
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen. OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) candidates are also eligible to apply.
- AP and Telangana students are eligible for the 15 % ALL INDIA QUOTA, they need not submit any self declaration. However students of Jammu and Kashmir have to submit a self declaration for 15 % ALL INDIA QUOTA.
- Aadhaar Card Requirement: Indian National candidates must have an Aadhaar Number to apply for NEET exam.
Age :-
- Minimum Age : Student must be 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Maximum Age : The maximum age limit is 25 years for General and OBC and 30 years for other categories.
Qualification :-
- Candidate should qualify 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized institute, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio – technology with English as compulsory subjects.
- Must obtain minimum 50% Marks in PCB group for General , at least 45% Marks in PCB group for General – PH and at least 40 % Marks for ST/ SC and OBC.
NEET 2018 Exam pattern :
- It will be an offline mode exam.
- Duration : 3 hours
- Question Type : Choose the correct answers with four options and one correct answer
- Total Questions : Total 180 questions, each question will carry 4 marks i.e.., (180 * 4 =720).
- Maximum Marks : 720 Marks ( 180 questions * 4 Marks Each = 720 Marks )
